A.D.A.M. was based off the discovery by NASA in December of 2010 when a team of scientists discovered a microbe that thrived off of arsenic on the bottom of Mono Lake in California.

P R E – P R O D U C T I O N -  Dr. Melissa Caudle and Jack E. Curenton are in the process of auditioning the potential cast for A.D.A.M.  The process follows the successful format Caudle established for her film The Keystroke Killer (KSK) where her team reviewed more than 4200 online auditions, 600 face-to-face auditions in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and on Skype before making the final cast selection.  From the data base of KSK, a new group was formed called A.D.A.M. Family Reunion whereby invited actors are currently submitting their online auditions.  A new twist has been added by Caudle and her casting team for A.D.A.M. – talent agencies from across highly targeted talent pools of Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, New Orleans, and Chicago are also submitting their talent.  This addition increases the talent pool for casting consideration.

Finding the perfect location to film A.D.A.M. is a challenge for the production team because they want to acquire quality locations that will have high production value while trimming the overall cost of the production.  It turns out that both Los Angeles and New Orleans have the desired locations needed.  Therefore, once the cast has been selected the team can decide which location to film based on a cost analysis.

From the beginning of the project, Caudle has had a clear vision of the look she wants to achieve from the film.  She draws on the influences of Academy Award winning directors to make certain she tells the story she envisions.

P R O D U C T I O N – A.D.A.M. can be shot within 21-27 days with four months of editing to bring the entire film ready for distribution once financing has been achieved.  Both Caudle and Curenton have access to well-established film crews with the experience needed to capture Caudle’s vision for the film and are on standby.  Caudle will use high definition cameras to shoot the film at the rate of 24 frames per second to emulate the look and feel of the film.  At the minimum the film will be shot in 1020P mode at 24 fps to mimic the look and feel of a 38mm film.  The finished film will have a cinematic feel which will be shot by an experienced director of photography and a cameraman with experience in television and film production.

P O S T P R O D U C T I O N – Editing of A.D.A.M. and the score will be completed in New Orleans under the supervision and talent of Ryan Dufrene, an experienced film editor and post graphic capabilities.  Also, Geo-Media, a creative motion graphics company will be used to incorporate the special effects.

Gypsy Elise DeSade will score A.D.A.M. and will also use original music from local New Orleans and Los Angeles musicians.  Gypsy is a talented musician and has been nominated for a Grammy.
